Actor Kajol Shrivastava, who played Yami in Siddharth Kumar tewary’s Karamphaldata Shani, is emotional as the show is ending. The actor says that she had adjusted well in Umbergaon where the show was being shot. “I actually feel sad because Umbergaon was my new home from the last six months. I have been staying at Umbergaon and it was totally a new life, away from Mumbai. So, obviously it’s a sad feeling. The actor says that she will miss everything about the show. “I think, I will miss everything. I will miss playing the role of Yami the most because I got to wear beautiful costumes, put on heavy make up, which I don’t do normally.“
Kajol says she enjoyed working with Siddharth and Rahul Kumar Tewary. “It was a beautiful feeling, it was an amazing experience. I came on board with the show because it was being made by Swastik pictures. They are so good with every actor and my experience was really beautiful. Recently, we went for Siddharth sir’s birthday to Goa, it felt like it was a family member’s birthday and that we were attending a family get together. Siddharth sir is very professional but he will always treats you as a friend. They are both so strong and are fantastic human beings. They treat their actors so well that every actor wants to work with them. I am really thankful to Siddharth sir and Rahul sir for giving me this role and giving me such a beautiful experience of my life,” she says.
The actor is waiting to work with Swastik Productions again. “I would love to do a show again with Swastik Productions because they are a fantastic production house to work with. They are very actor friendly and very good people, they treat you so well,” she says.
Ask her if she has any specific roles in her mind that she would like to play, and she says, “My first dream role would be Prerna of Kasautii Zindagii Kay because I have grown up watching Kasautii Zindagii Kay I always wanted to play Prerna because she was a beautiful, strong woman and the show had a beautiful love story. Secondly, I would love to do what Jennifer Winget has done in Behadh.”
